My passion for colour and style  came from my natural flair for dressmaking.

My First Style Inspiration?
Taught myself to sew with the Vogue Book of Sewing as a teenager. Then more recently completed short courses at the London College of Fashion.

Heritage & Heart– Chanderjit means conqueror of the moon
British-born with Punjabi Indian heritage. I've always been drawn to the exquisite jewellery, luscious fabrics, and intricate embellishments.

When I'm not working I Love
You’ll find me dressmaking, exploring fashion exhibitions, or reviewing the latest colour and style trends and always on the lookout for fabulous new fabrics to add to my stash.

How It All Began



 

I founded the company in 2008 as Studio Chun  having trained with  the colour me beautiful system in all aspects of their colour, style for women, makeup, bridal style, image matters for men and corporate. 

As I worked with more and more clients I saw the limits of trying to categorise people into a standardised system whether that be seasonal, extended seasons or flow colours from light to dark etc. 
Some people can resonate with colours from more than one group so I decided that providing a bespoke palette for each client was the way to go. Which led me to train with world masters and pioneers.

In The Media – The Early Days



 

As my business took momentum the media would reach out to me for articls in the local paper, The Telegraph. that same article also took a double page spread in the Ilkley Gazette. 

Conde Naste publications contacted me to be entered into their recommended listings for personal stylists which led to block entry in three of their most prestigious publications.

Sew Today regarded as the Vogue of sewing featured a section about my Sew With Style Workshop at the annual Knitting & Stitching show at the Harrogate Convention Centre. The workshop was always sold out and ran for several years.

I have had the honour to train with the world's leading Image Masters.  





Receiving the highest award, Level III from Carla Mathis herself, in her Los Angeles Studio, May 2017. Author of the Triumph of Individual Style. Carla worked alongside the pioneer of the personal colour analysis system Suzanne Caygill. Carla is a Certified Image Master.

An incredible experience that deepened my understanding of the alignment between visual identity and personal style.

Receiving the Advanced Award from principal Lynne Marks , in London July 2016. Lynne is also a trailblazer in the image industry a Certified Image Master and recipient of the prestigious IMMIE – Image Makers Merit of Industry Excellence Award.
